Two Thomas & Betts Compression Connector Brands Are Now One: Blackburn®

Two Thomas & Betts brands of compression connectors, Blackburn® and Color-Keyed®, are now being brought to market simply as Blackburn. (The official full name is Blackburn Featuring the Color-Keyed System.) The Blackburn connector brand is widely used in construction, while the Color-Keyed ® brand is better-known in industry.
In addition to a comprehensive line of Blackburn compression connectors, the line includes overhead, grounding and mechanical connectors for a broad range of applications. The Blackburn System tooling uses hexagonal color-coded dies to compress conductors for a secure electrical bond.
