Yokogawa Corporation of America (YCA) has named Daniel L. Duncan as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective July 1. Duncan comes to his new position from Siemens, where he had held various management roles since 1997. He had most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of the Oil & Gas Division, with responsibilities for a divisional portfolio that included power generation, compression, conceptual engineering, real-time data intelligence solutions, process safety engineering, water-treatment solutions, integrated electrical solutions and subsea products.
Commenting on the appointment, YCA President and CEO Chet Mroz pointed to Duncan’s successful management of the buildup of Siemens’ Oil & Gas capabilities in the United States. “His (Duncan’s) extensive knowledge and experience in the industrial automation, electrical, power, process-equipment and engineering service businesses across our key industry markets,” Mroz said, “is a significant addition to the Yokogawa Corporation of America executive team.”
