Holman Boiler Works and Affiliated Power Services to Merge Under Banner of ‘Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service’

Texas-based boiler companies Holman Boiler Works (Holman) and Affiliated Power Services (APS) have announced that their businesses will merge and operate under the name of Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service, Inc., effective Dec. 1, 2014. Cleaver-Brooks purchased Holman in March 2014 and APS in July 2014.
According to Holman’s President and CEO John Marrinucci, the combined expertise resulting from the merger will allow the joined companies to provide boiler-room solutions for any type of facility. Commenting on the name change to Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service, he noted that the Cleaver-Brooks brand is synonymous with boiler rooms. “Our new name,” Marrinucci said, “aligns us with the brand’s strength, as well as the resources and solutions offered by Cleaver-Brooks.”
Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Cleaver-Brooks and continue to service any type and size of boiler, regardless of manufacturer. Marrinucci will serve as President of the new organization.
