Accelerometers Offer Measurement Versatility

The Model 2210 series low-noise, single-axis accelerometer modules integrate a MEMS VC accelerometer chip with high-drive, low-impedance buffering for reported reliable, repeatable measurements. When used with the company’s mounting block, the unit can measure on one, two, or three axes, allowing specification of a single part number for multiple requirements. Available in ranges from +/– 2 to +/– 400 g, the series generates two analog voltage outputs that vary in response to applied acceleration. The modules provide either single-ended or differential output, the latter double accelerometer sensitivity over single-ended versions. Applications include lower-frequency vibration testing.
