VTEM motion terminal is a cyber-physical pneumatic-motion-control system with digital valves that change functionality based on various combinations of downloadable motion apps.
The terminal conforms to the National Science Foundation’s definition of a cyber-physical system and provides higher machine utilization, better energy efficiency, greater flexibility, and faster time to market for machine builders and end users. Components include digitally controlled flexible valves, an integrated processor, Ethernet communications, electrical inputs for fast control of specific analog and digital applications, and integrated pressure and temperature sensors for data analysis.
