AVEVA and Schneider Electric’s Industrial Software Biz Combine

AVEVA (Cambridge, UK) announced today that it has combined with Schneider Electric’s industrial-software business to drive digital transformation across the asset and operational life cycle for capital-intensive industries.

The move brings together AVEVA’s design, engineering, and construction capabilities with the expansive Schneider Electric software portfolio, which ranges from simulation to real-time manufacturing-operations management. Pursuant to today’s announcement, the focus is now on seamlessly integrating the two businesses to best serve and support customers, partners, and employees and firmly establish AVEVA as a global leader in engineering and industrial software. Further details will be available following finalization of the strategic plan.
